The Remote Teaching Station (RTS) software for VT-WIN II performs the teaching that is normally done directly on the AOI also from remote locations via an Ethernet connection or magnetic optical disk. In this way, it is possible to improve machine up-time by programming offline. It is also possible to use the stored images for remote programming and off-site teaching.
The RTS is supplied completely configured with the Teaching Interface (TI) software. The TI is an automatic inspection program creation system. It allows inspection programs to br created from CAD data and to allow construction of a customized component library. The TI automatically matches the CAD and/or placement machine data with each component model in the VT-WIN II component library in order to produce an inspection program.
The Concurrent Teaching Station (CTS) can be used off-line for creating and modifying inspection programs and in-line for program tuning during inspection without stopping or slowing down the production line. This prevents the machine from becoming a bottleneck, even if some tuning is being made during inspection mode. The optimization of the programs on the off-line programming station during inspection ensures implementation time and the uploading of programs from the inspection results is as fast as possible. This is a recommended feature on all VT-RNS in-line and VT-RNS-pth desktop models.
RME Repair Station software is for end-of-line verification after solder inspection. Installed on a PC after solder inspection, all defects are shown for confirmation or reclassification. This software loads PCB results and is linked to the PCB-ID. This PCB-ID can be input manually or automatically with barcode /2D scanner. It includes some report functions and is for use with the VT-WIN II. Repair Station Software is required for solder inspection machines.
RVS Inline Checking Station software is used for defect verification for paste and placement inspection. This software is installed on a PC next to the Paste or Placement inspection machine to verify defects of the faulty PCB stopped on a conveyor after the machine. Faulty PCB results are displayed automatically after the inspection is complete. It can also be placed after post-solder inspection for verifying defects before the repair station. This is recommended for use with our VT-RNS models.
Inspection Pro has been developed to trace inspection results integrally when linked with an automatic visual inspection system connected to a database to allow management of inspection history. Fault information is captured from an automatic visual inspection system when the VT-RNS or VT-WIN II are networked together. The fault point is presented and displayed with a fault message. The fault information, such as fault image, is saved together with the QR code of the inspected PCB, which is required for traceability. A record of all repaired fault points can be stored within the database for traceability.
Q-up Navi is designed to work with all of our in-line AOI equipment to enhance the manufacturing process by identifying the likely cause of defects from data collected at various stages of the production process and suggesting correction for each defect.
Our software provides three quality improvement procedure capabilities: S-teaching Navi, P/Z Setting Navi and Process Analyzer Navi.
