F270 High-Performance Vision System Offers Faster Processing with Multi-Camera Inspection Capabilities. The Omron F270 vision system integrates exceptional capabilities into a single unit: ASICs capture images in 8-16 ms in either field or frame mode. This higher speed enables higher throughput, while multiple cameras allow inspection of targets from multiple views or at different stages of processing. The dual CPUs allow the F270 system to inspect two targets simultaneously with no reduction of production speed. Optimum inspection speed for the F270 is 5,000 parts per minute. The F270 vision sensor and cameras can be placed all along the line to inspect and reject product before total value is added, minimizing rework and waste.
